Penn State Baseball Club THON
The Penn State Baseball Club refounded their THON organization, known as Club Baseball with the organization number 1780, in 2011 to make a difference in the families of the Four Diamonds Foundation. Since the organization has begun, the club has unofficially paired itself with the Club Field Hockey team. Although our totals are seperate, both clubs go on canning trips together and do other fundraisers throughout the fundraising year.
The club had the opportunity to meet Eli Sidler and the Sidler family through the Club Field Hockey team, as they were paired with them as their THON family. Eli and his family made a tremendous impact on the guys apart of the team up until he tragically lost his battle with Ewing's sarcoma. Now, Eli's parents, Bret and Sue Sidler, started a foundation in Eli's name called Chemowarrior.
In Janurary of 2015 the club was blessed to be paired with Tyler Lehman and his family. Tyler had just recently begun battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and the club was excited to try and make a difference. Since meeting Tyler, he has been in remission since August of 2015 and has completed his Freshman year at Penn State Berks majoring in Criminology.

Since returning to THON in 2011, the club has had two dancers represent the club every year since 2013. Dancing at THON is when you stand up to cancer for 46 hours straight with no sitting or sleeping during the duration of the 46 Hour Dance Marathon that concludes the fundraising season. Below is a list of the dancers who have represented the club.
